Sugar Glider Sugar Bear Other Pets 2

Way back in the pages of time, the time when sugar glider sugar bears first set forth it’s foot in United States, year 1993, they were largely mistaken to be exotic and strange animals who do not fit being a man’s pet and companion. Although others believe that sugar glider sugar bears cannot establish a healthy relationship with other animals, it is far from reality. This pet has become a popular best friend of other pets. Sugar glider sugar bears are colony animals. They grow in group and families so there bonding are natural to them. This was done within 7 and 12 weeks out of the pouch where they are introduced to their family unit. It was a common knowledge that no two animals are the same. Extra care is needed both of them meet each other.

Knowledge of the animal’s nature is necessary, like for sugar glider sugar bears, they tend to dominate in most cases. So whenever you introduce them to others may it be big or small they immediately stand at their back legs to establish dominance. Now to establish a bonding among others (common pets like cats and dogs) scent technique is necessary. Most pet bond with each other through smell. This can be done by cloth rubbing. Having two pieces of cloth and rub it all over them and then let them smell it. Next is to introduce both of them while sugar glider sugar bear is in the cage. Allowing other pets to come and sniff it. You may want to cover it in video, you’ll enjoy how the sugar glider sugar bear reacts in introducing himself as the tough one.

After a few days, introduce them again by your hands or through bonding pouch directly. But some birds take a long time to establish a bond. Same is the case with rodent like hamster, guinea pigs and mice. The reason is, sugar glider sugar bears are prey for larger birds and they eat bird’s egg and prey on small rodents. However snakes, reptiles and insects like spiders, never bond with sugar glider sugar bears.
