Sugar Glider Sugar Bear Cost 1

Sugar glider sugar bears are becoming increasingly popular by the day and the fact that they don’t breed very quickly means it is getting harder to find them. Today, for a baby between 8-12 weeks you can expect to pay $200-$400. You can find some discount gliders for $100-$150 but be advised to avoid them. Never buy your sugar glider sugar bear off the internet or from so called gilder ‘rescue’. Make sure the person from whom you buy has a valid federal USDA license.

Once you buy them, however, the cost of maintaining them isn’t much and there aren’t many hidden expenses making them one of the most affordable companion pets around. Typically it costs around $10 a month per animal to take care, which makes them one of the cheapest pets. There is no need of any elaborate homemade diets and you can feed them excellent pellet food made specially for sugar glider sugar bears, which is more and nutritious and much cheaper than homemade food. There are many internet sites that claim homemade food is healthy for sugar glider sugar bears and then give elaborate details how to prepare them that will take hours together of your time. These are all unjustified claims and should not be believed. Like for all other pets, you will have an occasional Vet bill to take care of. Even this is much cheaper than the cost for cats and dogs and if they don’t get sick or get hurt, you only need a quick annual check up. Sugar glider sugar bears don’t require shots or ongoing care to treat heartworms or other diseases. Also sugar glider sugar bears are not prone to a lot of diseases and also they don’t need to be bathed or groomed the way other pets like cats and dogs require. This makes them one of the easiest and cheapest to maintain pets that anyone can own.
